On January 4th, 2024, the HiPerks Foundation will host the third edition of the Accessibility Tournament, a unique Rocket League event focused on accessibility and fun. This year, the competition will take place at Dynamo Eindhoven, a vibrant venue where gamers come together to compete in a 2v2 format.
A Tournament That Makes a Difference
The HiPerks Foundation is dedicated to young people aged 12 to 35 with physical disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries (ABI). For many of them, gaming isn’t always straightforward, but with innovative tools and adjustments, more opportunities are opening up to make gaming accessible and inclusive.
About the Tournament
In this exciting 2v2 Rocket League competition, each team must include at least one player with a disability. This rule emphasizes the core values of the HiPerks Foundation: equality, connection, and shared enjoyment through gaming. The tournament is not just about competition—it’s a celebration of what’s possible when gaming becomes truly inclusive.
Designing the Logo
I was honored to design the logo for this year’s event. The logo reflects both the competitive and inclusive spirit of the tournament, aligning seamlessly with the values of the HiPerks Foundation. It was a rewarding process to create a visual identity for an event that has such a meaningful impact on its participants.
