On October 7, 2023, I had the opportunity to photograph the Rocket League tournament held during Dutch Media Week at Beeld & Geluid in Hilversum. Dutch Media Week is the premier platform for media professionals, students, creators, and enthusiasts to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the future of media.
The tournament was sponsored by H20 Esports Campus, Go!Gaming, and Alienware, boasting a €5,000 prize pool. After an intense competition, NXT claimed first place, with Myth Esports taking second, mCon Esports finishing third, and RQS Esports securing fourth.
My role was to capture the energy of the event, from the focus of the players to the buzz of the audience.
