A while back, I had the opportunity to photograph Djuncan, a popular content creator with hundreds of thousands of followers across YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch, during his yearly team outing. This year, the group decided to head to Teamsport E-Karting in Utrecht for a thrilling go-karting session, and I was there to capture the high-speed action. The event was a way for Duncan to thank the mods for their hard work and dedication to the community.
Before the event, I was a bit uncertain. Karting is fast-paced, and I was unsure how the lighting conditions would affect the photos. However, once I saw the action unfold, my doubts faded. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and despite the challenges, I’m really pleased with the results.
Photographing karting was a fun challenge. The lighting inside the track wasn’t always ideal, and the speed at which the karts were moving made it tricky to get sharp shots. But the energy and intensity of the event kept me focused, and I’m happy I managed to capture some great moments. It was a rewarding experience that really pushed me to think outside the box.
